Art of Barre™ - Pilates Barre Workout

Art of Barre with Katherine RiceYou don't need dance experience to try this high energy total body workout based on the principles of Pilates, Ballet and Yoga. The Barre workout consists of small isometric movements to strengthen the muscle, followed by deep orthopedic stretches to lengthen the muscle ... and is infused with interval training to keep the heart rate elevated to maximize fat burn.

These safe and highly effective non-impact exercises target lifting the seat, elongating the thighs, and sculpt the abdominals and arms — where most women struggle! Barre classes focus on shaping a long lean physique and can be done by all ages and fitness levels, with modifications to accommodate any conditions.

Set to music, the workout requires concentration and full immersion to provide a pleasant escape from daily life stresses — you will be surprised how quickly an hour workout will go by!

Pilates Barre classes are limited to 6 people, so reservations are required. Katherine's goal is to provide you with the highest level of Pilates Barre instruction and personal attention, so you don't feel you got lost in the crowd.

Pricing: To welcome you to her studio, Katherine Rice provides a complimentary first visit. You'll want to come again!
Class Fees: Package of 10 classes + 11th class FREE = $150.    Drop-in (space permitting) = $15/class.

The Art of Motion Pilates & Barre Studio is located at the Plantation House and Raquet and Fitness Club at Legacy Lakes, 155 Legacy Lakes Way, Aberdeen, NC 28315. The studio is a 6-7 minute drive from Aberdeen's Harris Teeter shopping center, a few miles down Hwy 15-501 South.
